Job Description
Due to our continuous growth we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our busy, dedicated team. They will be the first point of contact for all external and internal customers, providing an excellent administrative facility and promoting a customer focused environment.
Main duties of the role include:
€¢ Complete administration activities in accordance with the agreed targets set by the Supervisor.
€¢ Respond to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and post, by providing a polite, professional and accurate response in line with agreed standards.
€¢ Handle basic and complex administration tasks and technical queries from customers both in written and verbal format.
€¢ Actively listen to customers in order to clearly define and resolve their needs and concerns.
€¢ Understand own responsibilities and taking ownership of individual work within the team.
€¢ Work within and help maintain a customer focused and team environment which is continuously improving and striving to identify process improvements.
€¢ Interact effectively with other team members and with members of other departments as the job dictates.
€¢ Identify complaints and breaches and ensure they are reported or passed to the correct area.
€¢ Work within the regulatory framework.
€¢ Offer support to colleagues and the Supervisor when required.
€¢ Ensure all customers are treated fairly and a consistent approach is applied at all times to all customers.
€¢ Consistently strive to achieve personal targets, improve necessary skills and develop new ones.
Essential Criteria:
€¢ PC literate including ability to use MS Excel and Word
€¢ High standard of rapport building
€¢ Customer service skills
€¢ Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
€¢ Letter writing and administrative skills
€¢ Good communication skills
€¢ Ability to demonstrate good telephone skills
€¢ Experience in a similar role required
€¢ GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
